Basada en el enfoque de los bienes y servicios que provee la naturaleza, la herramienta ENCORE (Exploring Natural Capital Opportunities, Risks and Exposure), desarrollada por Natural Capital Finance Alliance, en colaboración con UNEP-WCMC y Global Canopy, puede ser de gran utilidad para ayudar al sector financiero a explorar el impacto de sus carteras sobre el riesgo de pérdida de biodiversidad. Además del módulo específico sobre biodiversidad de ENCORE, se ha elaborado una guía que recoge una completa introducción a la herramienta y al módulo, así como explicaciones exhaustivas sobre la finalidad y el uso del módulo para identificar y evaluar los riesgos y oportunidades relacionados con la biodiversidad.
