Effective BNG strategies for small site developments
Detalles
| Biodiversity Net Gain (GNB). BNG—) is a legal requirement for the development of small facilities in the UK from April 2024. So far, there has been little discussion about the potential challenges associated with GNB implementation for SMEs, including the requirements for relatively small biodiversity units where in-situ implementation may be ineffective. This webinar serves to update SME developers on the legal requirements that affect them, discuss the pros and cons of on-site development, and inform about their off-site options through the Environment Bank's network of habitat banks. The knowledge and experience shared in this webinar can serve as a reference for other countries where the incorporation of GNB into national regulation is also being contemplated to promote biodiversity conservation. |
