This study makes a first approach to the inclusion of water in sustainable finance, given the importance of water as one of the main elements of biodiversity and as a strategic component for the economy.
Sustainable investment in water analyses the dangers related to climate change related to water, how water is included in European sustainable finance regulations, the main international initiatives and national investment plans in this area and, finally, sustainable investment strategies related to the management of water resources and the protection of aquatic ecosystems.
