Sustainable finance in Spain, within the framework of the European Union and in the international context

| The aim of this paper is to present a general, up-to-date overview of sustainable finance in Spain, within the framework of the European Union and the international context. Section 2 presents the framework for sustainable finance in the European Union, since the 2018 Action Plan, following the European Green Deal and the Strategy for financing the transition to a sustainable economy. In section 3, some relevant international organisations and forums on sustainable finance that have been appearing in recent years are analysed, considering in each case the Spanish presence. Section 4 refers to sustainable finance at the international level, while section 5 deals with sustainable finance in Spain. |
