This report quantifies public and private finance flows for nature-based solutions and the extent to which funding flows are aligned to respond to global challenges related to biodiversity loss, land degradation and climate change. Current investments are compared with the investments needed to meet the objectives of the Rio Conventions under the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the UN Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD).
