Business for Nature, WBCSD and the World Economic Forum have published this companion guide that provides a mapping of priority actions for 12 economic sectors to act on nature against the recommendations of the Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF) and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This mapping seeks to help companies in the sectors understand how the actions they are taking to halt and reverse nature loss could contribute to the 23 MGB goals and 17 SDGs of the 2030 Agenda to companies in the sectors: -Food - built environment, -chemicals - construction materials (cement and concrete), -energy - fashion and clothing, - financial services, forest products, - household and personal care products, - travel and tourism, waste management, - Water companies and services This publication only addresses the key objectives or goals for each action considered relevant. The possible objectives or targets to which the actions can contribute and the scale of the contribution will depend on the specific action being taken. |
