Operationalizing transformative change for business in the context of Nature Positive

Detalles

The article addresses how companies can contribute to the mission of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (MGB) to halt and reverse biodiversity loss.

It is emphasized that small adjustments in business practices are not enough; transformative change is required to achieve a "Nature Positive" future.

The authors propose a practical framework based on the literature on social change to understand and operationalize this transformative change in companies. They describe different types and scales of actions that companies can take to plan mutually reinforcing actions and improve accountability in their commitments to biodiversity.

The proposed framework helps companies plan ambitious, evidence-based actions to contribute to a sustainable and nature-positive future.
