Este informe del Instituto de Recursos Globales (WRI, por sus siglas en inglés) resume la ciencia sobre los efectos biofísicos de la deforestación sobre la estabilidad y las implicaciones políticas de los impactos resultantes a tres escalas: política climática mundial, cooperación regional para la gestión de las precipitaciones relacionadas con la agricultura y la salud pública.
