| This publication presents a series of guidelines developed to support the development of ecosystem services indicators at national and regional levels for use in reporting, policymaking, biodiversity conservation, ecosystem management, environmental management, development planning and education. The guidelines are designed to assist in the development of ecosystem services indicators both on a "one-off" basis to meet the needs of a particular study or report (e.g. ecosystem assessments), and for long-term reporting and decision-making (e.g. for Conventions such as the CBD). |
