Implementation of the NEIS Platform Q&A Explanations 1/2024

The ICAC- Institute of Accounting and Auditing of Accounts, fulfilling its objective of supporting Spanish companies in adapting to the requirements derived from corporate information on sustainability that have come into force in 2024, has published on its website the first set of 12 explanations in Spanish of the Q&A Platform created by the European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG).

This material, essential for understanding the implementation of the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (NEIS), is designed to provide clarity and guidance. On 6 February 2024, EFRAG, in its role as an advisory body on technical questions for the implementation of the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (NEIS), published its first set of 12 explanations grouped into chapters according to their nature and relationship to the cross-cutting NEIS, environmental, social and governance. With this publication, the ICAC seeks to ensure that this support material is available to all users and companies that are involved in the preparation of sustainability reports.
