The future of dependency and impact screening: Exploring ENCORE’s new updates

Within the framework of the actions of the EU Horizon SUSTAIN project – which has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme, under the grant agreement – the webinar “The future of dependency and impact screening: Exploring ENCORE’s new updates” will take place on 2 October at 3:30 p.m.

During the session, those responsible for updating this ENCORE digital tool, designed to help companies, financial institutions and regulators to start assessing nature-related impacts and dependencies, will present the main new features incorporated in the recently carried out review.

ENCORE is developed and maintained by Global Canopy, UNEP FI and UNEP-WCMC and the latest enhancements developed include:

• a more detailed breakdown of economic sectors,
• an up-to-date categorization of ecosystem services,
• the inclusion of cultural ecosystem services,
• A refined methodology for materiality classifications
• New information on the key links in the value chain.
