Sourcing and using biodiversity data

Detalles

The starting point for assessing the biodiversity impact of products, production processes and management practices is often different types of data. The most accurate results can be obtained with primary data (i.e. through the data collection itself), but information gaps can also be filled with secondary information from private or public databases. At the same time, data collection requires a good understanding of what kind of data is needed, where it can be found, and how it can be used.

This online webinar, hosted by the CircHive BEEHive (Biodiversity Excellence of Enterprises) community, will explain the basics of biodiversity data management. The latest updates from research institutions will be presented, but it will also focus on real experiences from companies: Stora Enso, Millwood and Agroderew.
