Ecosystem restoration is gaining momentum in science and policy as a process that can address biodiversity loss, climate change, and other societal challenges. However, the human and social dimensions of restoration projects deserve more attention and emphasis.
This workshop aims to highlight the social dimensions of restoration projects by bringing together practitioners, scientists and decision-makers to discuss integrative and participatory approaches that strengthen the engagement of local communities and other stakeholders.
