As part of the European Horizon SUSTAIN ( Strengthening Understanding and Strategies of Business to Assess and Integrate Nature) project – which has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme, under the grant agreement – new case studies of the built environment sector have been published (Sacyr, Holcim and AECOM). energy (Iberdrola, Equinor and CLP) and the agri-food sector. These references show how companies assess nature-related issues and how they act on them.
On the occasion of the presentation of these publications, the webinar “Lessons from business and finance on assessing and acting on nature-related issues” will take place on 5 September at two available times:
The webinar will serve to delve into why nature-related risks are important for the financial sector and the aforementioned case studies. Speakers will share with attendees how their respective companies are working to:
- Act in favor of nature.
- Employ tools in the process and alignment with relevant frameworks, standards and disclosure systems.
- Identify, assess, engage and act on nature-related issues.
