Conference/ Round table/Colloquium “Supply markets (wood and derivatives), traceability, EUDR…”

Detalles

The development of the forestry sector is becoming increasingly important to meet the commitments of the “European Green Deal” that aims to achieve climate neutrality in Europe by 2050. In this regard, it is undoubtedly the paradigm of a new decarbonized (bio)economy, based on natural and renewable resources. However, this potential also poses complex challenges for the sector, such as the traceability of wood and wood products, which are also required by the new Deforestation Regulation (EUDR). To address these issues, we had experts from international organizations, technological institutes and qualified representatives of the wood industry at the conference.
