The aim of this report is for companies to better understand the need to identify potentially important nature-related issues in the first place, using the tools available and discussing with relevant stakeholders in order to carry out a more in-depth assessment and take action to halt and reverse nature loss.
It briefly summarizes the recommendations of relevant guidance and requirements, and identifies global tools that can help, such as the ENCORE (Exploring Natural Capital Opportunities, Risks and Exposure) tool, which can help break down the complexity of nature.
