AEIM, the leading Association in the industry and distribution of wood, boards and derivatives, organizes a Round Table with the title: “The European Regulation to Combat Deforestation (EUDR) and wood. The next steps.” From 30 December 2024, the new European Regulation (EU) 2023/1115 against deforestation (EUDR) will apply, which establishes new obligations for importers, exporters and traders of wood products. Among these requirements, traceability should be highlighted, which will be a topic of great relevance this year. This conference will address the implications for our sector of the application of this Regulation in Spain and the initiatives that the industry is beginning to develop to comply with it. |
