Local authorities and other public bodies, as well as non-profit organisations and the private sector are working hard to achieve the recovery of nature. At the same time, there is a growing interest in the role of land, water and nature in challenges such as increasing flood risk and achieving net zero. This webinar will uncover a new, free resource that will enable local governments and other stakeholders to create opportunity maps to restore nature and implement nature-based solutions. The event will be hosted by Alison Smith, a senior research associate in the Environmental Change Institute’s Ecosystems Group. The cartographic resource has been developed for England, but it is of interest to other professionals who develop their activity in the field of land management. |
