Natural Capital informs policy

This event, organized by the Natural Capital Initiative (NCI), will explore how natural capital influences and shapes different policy domains. Natural capital is an essential component in a number of areas of policy-making, and understanding and protecting it can be critical to the success of its implementation.
 
Attendees will hear from Simone Martino, Senior Research Fellow in Natural Capital Valuation at the James Hutton Institute, and Professor Ian Bateman OBE FRSB, Professor of Environmental Economics and Director of LEEP at the University of Exeter, who will discuss how natural capital influences and shapes different policy domains. This will be followed by a Q and discussion with the audience, moderated by Dr. Kerry Waylen, Senior Research Fellow at the James Hutton Institute.
