The Galician Food Cluster (Clusaga), in line with its commitment to the sustainability of the food sector and with its objective of accompanying companies in their green and digital transition, kicks off 2024 with the First Edition of its GREEN VALUE 4 FOOD Forum, an initiative in favour of the sustainable and circular development of the food value chain.
Thus, on January 25, in the morning, the City of Culture of Galicia (Santiago de Compostela) will host this ambitious day with food sustainability as the central axis. Through the perspectives of a panel of top-notch speakers, the meeting will serve to address this issue from all perspectives of current interest to companies and professionals in the food and beverage sector.
The Forum will start with an institutional opening that will allow for a deepening of public policies for the green transition, and will give way to three round tables that will break down in detail the sustainable commitment of companies, the environmental impact of the food sector and the strategies for the green transition.
Positive impact on production processes, sustainability in consumption and the value chain, waste recovery, eco-design of food products, environmental footprint, natural capital, sustainable finance and green bonds are just a sample of the issues that the GREEN VALUE 4 FOOD Forum aims to delve into in this First Edition.
The meeting, which will be an excellent opportunity for networking and the study of opportunities for collaboration between the different agents of the food sector, will also be an exhibition space, with a sample of Sustainable Solutions for the Food Ecosystem.
GREEN VALUE 4 FOOD is an initiative of Clusaga that has the Gold Sponsorship of the Xunta de Galicia, through the Ministry of Environment and Territorial Planning; and with the Silver Sponsorship of ABANCA.
