Future Energy Solutions: Accelerating the Green Transition

This conference will be a platform for industry experts, policymakers, researchers and business leaders to come together and discuss the advances, challenges and opportunities of sustainable energy.

The key themes of the event will be renewable energy solutions, green hydrogen and energy markets and efficiency. In addition, two specialized sessions will be held on future electrified mobile work machines used in various industries, in which the technological advances and environmental benefits of the transition to electric machinery will be presented. The future of electric vehicles (EVs) will also be discussed, including infrastructure development, policy support and the role of EVs in reducing carbon emissions.

The event is organised by the Finnish city of Lappeenranta, winner of the EU Green Leaf 2021 title, which is awarded to European cities with less than 100,000 inhabitants, and signatory of the Green City Accord.
