Climate Week NYC 2023

The event is organized by Climate Group and is held every year in partnership with the United Nations General Assembly and is held in coordination with the United Nations and the City of New York. This year’s New York Climate Week features a full schedule of about 400 events and activities in New York City. For those unable to attend in person, key sessions will be streamed throughout the week. The all-digital events will also be included in the New York Climate Week Events program.

The Opening Ceremony of Climate Week New York is the highlight of the week. The event, which will take place on Sunday, September 17, will feature important announcements, discussions, and interviews with international leaders from business, government, and the climate community.

This year, the New York Climate Week Opening Ceremony will cover three key themes:

How can and will we meet the challenges of the latest IPCC report in the face of delays and the use of fossil fuels not being reduced fast enough?

What does deep, systemic change look and feel like? What are the next frontiers and opportunities?

How do organizations prepare for a radically different economy?

On Monday and Tuesday, September 18 and 19, 2023, Climate Group presents The Hub Live. The Hub Live, which brings together more than 1000 of the most influential leaders from business, government and the climate sector, hosts a series of sessions addressing key topics that will be shared at a later date.
