This event will bring to life the seven ambitious recommendations of the Working Group on Nature Markets to shape a nature economy in the 21st century. Join a dynamic discussion on how strong, policy-backed governance frameworks can evolve alongside markets to prevent greenwashing. These discussions – from food markets to biodiversity credits to the role of central banks – will provide a platform for competitive international views and solutions from indigenous peoples, financial institutions, policymakers, and the NGO community.
For this event, the Working Group on Nature Markets will bring together a wide range of stakeholders active in nature markets who will highlight and implement the governance recommendations launched during the Amazon Summit in Belém, Brazil.
