| The TNFD has developed this biome guide to support the identification, assessment and disclosure of nature-related dependencies, impacts, risks and opportunities. These issues are location-specific and depend on the type of ecosystem (biome) and the expected present and future state of nature on the site. This guide aims to support organizations whose operations involve nature-related topics associated with the biomes covered. It is a complement to the TNFD. The guide will be reviewed and updated regularly by the Working Group, based on scientific and technical data updates related to biomes and market commentary, to improve its relevance and usability. Guidance on additional biomes will be added over time. |
