Methodological guide for the identification of green infrastructure elements in Spain
Detalles
The Public Administrations are responsible for identifying, within the scope of their respective competences, the elements of the territory that will make up the Green Infrastructure of Spain, based on the criteria established in Goal 0 of the National Strategy for Green Infrastructure and Ecological Connectivity and Restoration.
In order to comply with the need for standardisation of cartography, avoiding inconsistencies between the different geographical scales and Administrations, this identification will also be based on the Methodological Guide for the identification of the elements of green infrastructure provided for in the National Strategy, drafted within the working group that operates within the framework of the State Commission for Natural Heritage and Biodiversity.
This document is very useful for entities interested in how to value the ecosystem services associated with green infrastructure, an aspect that is often in high demand by companies in order to translate biodiversity data into indicators.
