| This year's edition examines the real cost of food in sustainable agri-food systems. The report introduces the concept of hidden environmental, health and social costs and benefits of agrifood systems and proposes an approach, True Cost Accounting (TCA), to assess them. To operationalize the ACT approach, the report proposes a two-phase evaluation process, firstly, drawing on assessments of ATTs at the national level to raise awareness and then move towards more in-depth and targeted assessments to prioritise solutions and guide transformative actions. |
