Principles for ecosystem restoration as a guide for the United Nations Decade 2021-2030
Detalles
| To support the implementation of the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration and contribute to the achievement of its goals, it is necessary to create a shared vision on ecosystem restoration. To that end, this publication presents ten principles that underpin the full set of restoration activities, including a first principle that guides restoration in the context of the United Nations Decade, followed by nine principles of good practice. These detail the essential doctrines that must be followed in order to maximize the net gain for native biodiversity, ecosystem health and integrity, and human health and well-being in all biomes, sectors, and regions. |
