With nature and biodiversity declining at an unprecedented rate, and events such as the adoption of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF) and the launch of the Task Force on Nature-Related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) framework, nature-related issues have been increasingly attracting the attention of the financial sector.
Thanks to this, innovations have been produced in nature-related finance with the ultimate goal of halting and reversing biodiversity loss. Since 2022, the New Green Shoots webinar kicks off the new year with a review of the latest innovative nature finance products that have come to market. This year, without exception, this event presented emerging trends in nature finance and highlighted some innovative products and mechanisms with great potential to scale the market aimed at boosting nature finance
