European Mission Soil Week 2023

Detalles

The European Soil Mission Week is an annual event aimed at promoting Horizon Europe’s Mission ‘A Soil Pact for Europe’ (Soil Mission), raising awareness of the importance of soil health and promoting actions to protect and restore our soils.
The European Soil Mission Week, organised by the European Commission, the Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development (DG AGRI) in the context of the Soil Mission, together with the EU-funded PREPSOIL project and the EU Soil Observatory of the Joint Research Centre (EUSO), will take place from 21 to 23 November 2023. The conference will be organized locally by INIA-CSIC at the central facilities of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) in Madrid, Spain, under the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the EU.
The European Soil Mission Week is an important European meeting that brings together the European soil community. Researchers, policymakers, farmers, foresters, spatial planners, landowners and administrators, businesses and organisations, as well as the general public, will come together to discuss the challenges of keeping EU soils healthy.
