World Biodiversity Summit

The World Biodiversity Summit returns on 21 September, in parallel with the 78th United Nations General Assembly and Climate Week in New York.

It is a pioneering platform for public-private partnerships around the world to address the urgent need to restore biodiversity through nature-based solutions and nature-positive investments that bridge the gap between the climate and biodiversity agendas.  

Now that the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework has been adopted, the time has come to put it into practice. The World Biodiversity Summit programme is therefore designed to encourage companies and financial institutions to ensure sustainable production models and reduce risks, while identifying opportunities arising from nature.
