The 10th edition of the World Conference on Ecological Restoration will focus on the important, and often neglected, connection between culture and nature, including the role of restoration in enhancing and rebuilding that connection. It is a crucial meeting point for professionals and students interested in ecological restoration and management. During the conference, attendees will have the opportunity to exchange knowledge, discuss and learn about the latest trends in restoration science, practice and policy, as well as on specific tools, techniques, challenges and strategies to restore damaged and degraded ecosystems on all continents.
SER 2023 will be held in person from 26 to 30 September 2023 in Darwin, Australia, and can also be followed virtually in the Western Hemisphere time zone during the week of 6 November 2023.
In parallel to the events scheduled within the framework of SER 2023, the annual meeting of the United Nations Decade will take place.
