Attracting investment in Nature-based Solutions. How NBS projects can apply the TNFD reporting framework
Detalles
| A more consistent and transparent approach to reporting is needed to unlock capital for nature-based solutions (NBS). To date, investment in NBS has been limited due to the lack of adequate information available to investors to consistently assess and compare the design, impact and financial profitability of projects. This user guide explains to investors the information requirements and provides guidance to projects that aim to attract financial investment. Project managers will understand how to assess the design, governance and implementation of their own projects and how to report on them in accordance with the recommendations of the TNFD. This paper aims to contribute to the wider adoption of the TNFD framework by nature-based solutions (NBS) projects to scale up action towards sustainable restoration and landscape management in ways that benefit both people and nature. |
