NatureFinance launches "NatureAlign," a new tool designed to help financial institutions assess and advance their alignment with nature-positive outcomes through the lens of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF).
This tool is an open-access application, with synergies with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the LEAP (Locate, Assess, Assess, Prepare) framework of the Working Group on Nature-related Disclosures (TNFD).
It uses existing biophysical, spatial, and financial datasets to provide financial institutions with an analysis of their investments and loans with respect to nature. Its main objective is to provide institutions with tools to account for their dependence and their impacts on nature.
