The climate transition requires a significant volume of public and private investments, which is why the report details the actions that must be carried out by the public sector and the financial sector for this transition to be successful.
An analysis of the economic and climate policy promoted by Spain is carried out, highlighting Law 7/2021 of 20 May, on climate change and energy transition, the National Integrated Energy and Climate Plan (PNIEC) 2021-2030, a series of bilateral financial instruments to promote sustainable projects abroad or the Green Bond Framework of the Kingdom of Spain.
In addition to an analysis of the regulatory framework in Spain, the report presents eight actions to accompany the financial sector and companies in adapting to the sustainable finance framework to promote the reallocation of capital towards sustainability.
