Sustainable and Responsible Investment in Spain
Detalles
Spainsif has published a report on market studies and Sustainable and Responsible Investment (SRI) in Spain. The main innovation of the study is the renewed market monitoring methodology, which moves from the traditional classification of sustainable investment strategies to a classification of investments related to sustainability.
From this study, the results in volumes will only refer to those of national entities, with the aim of avoiding double counting of assets when carrying out market studies at European level, but the study continues the work of collecting data from international entities operating in Spain
The results reflected in the report highlight the use of active management policies, especially dedicated to addressing issues related to climate change and human rights.
International entities are more sophisticated in the implementation of sustainable investment strategies, with more mature engagement and impact measurement processes and greater integration of ESG teams
The participating entities highlight the importance of regulations such as the SFDR, the Environmental Taxonomy and the CSRD for the advancement of sustainable investment in Spain.
