Beta Framework for integrating decision making. Required steps to integrate the value of four capitals
Detalles
The Capitals Coalition's "Beta Framework for Integrated Decision-Making" outlines seven essential steps that, if followed, can help organizations of all sizes integrate the value of the four capitals (natural, human, social, and productive) into their decision-making processes. The accompanying technical support documents, the Capital Protocol and Governance for Valuation, provide the guidance and tools needed to ensure that this integration is done effectively, transparently and with confidence.
As we strive to build a more sustainable and equitable future, the "Beta Framework for Integrated Decision-Making" offers a valuable roadmap for navigating the complex landscape in which we all live.
The need for a more holistic approach, taking into account the interconnectedness of our planet's natural, social, human and produced capital, has never been more urgent. The framework is a testament to the power of systems thinking, the importance of considering the interconnectedness of all aspects of our world, and the value of what really matters: people and the planet.
A public consultation on the beta framework, the "Capital Protocol" and the "Governance for Valuation" has been opened and will be open until 31 March 2025.
The online text version of the consultation can be explored here . It is intended to allow responses to be written and edited offline for easy copying and pasting where appropriate in questionnaires. Each document has its corresponding online questionnaires, in which you can also save and edit the answers before sending them.
