TERRAenVISION 2024 | Nature-based solutions to facilitate the transitions for living within the planetary boundaries

Our planet suffers because of human activities. Agriculture, cities, nature and industries need to transition to address challenges related to climate, biodiversity and resource availability. There is a growing body of scientific and practical evidence showing that nature-inclusive and nature-based solutions allow humanity to live within planetary boundaries. Despite the evidence, NBS are still not the first choice when looking for transformative solutions for agriculture, nature, cities and industry.

In order to create the conditions for the transition to a society that stays within planetary boundaries, scientists, policymakers, financial institutes and industry players need to join forces.

This conference aims to offer a platform for a wide range of stakeholders, who, together, can exchange experiences and identify new ways of transformation towards a sustainable society within planetary boundaries. TERRAVISION promotes the exchange of scientific research, industry solutions, and policy perspectives for interdisciplinary collaboration and networking. To facilitate dialogue between scientists and stakeholders with the same goal, working on the same social problem, but with different backgrounds. By bringing people and their knowledge together, steps can be taken towards solutions that lead our society to a more sustainable situation. This conference seeks to establish links with international policies such as the Sustainable Development Strategy.
