Building a nature-positive business strategy

Detalles

The impact of the biodiversity crisis on businesses around the world is becoming clearer every day. With ambitious global targets, upcoming disclosure requirements and emerging compliance frameworks being put in place to address the issue, there is a strategic advantage in developing a comprehensive strategy for nature early on in terms of environmental sustainability.

Companies face increasing pressure to monitor and disclose their nature-related risks and impacts, through stakeholder demand and mandatory and voluntary frameworks, such as the TNFD. This means addressing nature-related risks and impacts along the entire supply chain, working to reduce them as much as possible.

Once the damage has been measured and measures have been taken to reduce it, the damage already caused must be repaired. But it can be hard to know where to start (and avoid taking actions that cause more harm).

This webinar will explore the key features of a complete nature-positive strategy, including impact monitoring, risk management, and restoration beyond the supply chain.

The panel of speakers will discuss lessons learned from the carbon market and explain clear actions that companies can take as they embark on their nature-positive journey, at whatever stage they are in.

The target audience is professionals in the corporate responsibility, natural capital and corporate sustainability sectors, including consultants and advisors, such as sustainability directors, sustainability and natural capital consultants, public environmental policy makers, sustainable impact investors, corporate responsibility executives, ESG managers, supply chain managers, biodiversity specialists and communication managers in the field of sustainability.
