In response to the mandate of the European Commission, the Sustainable Finance Platform, an advisory body to the Commission, has published a report that presents a series of evidence-based recommendations to simplify information on the taxonomy and improve its effectiveness. Following a thorough review of market practices, pilot projects and feedback from investors, banks, insurers, corporates, SMEs, auditors and consultants, the report identifies key areas for improvement, such as simplification, access to data and regulatory consistency
