Risks and opportunities arising from the impacts and dependencies that hotel activity has on nature
Detalles
This study identifies and assesses the main risks derived from the impacts and dependencies that hotel activity has on nature. It reveals the particular vulnerability of the sector to the degradation of ecosystem services such as the visual amenity of the landscape, cultural values, water purification or local climate regulation. It also identifies the main levers for a transition towards models aligned with the restoration and conservation of our natural heritage.
This work is part of the project "Nature, an asset for the tourism sector in Spain" framed in the program "Changing Lifestyles to recover Nature" of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR) financed by the NextGeneration funds of the European Union.
